| I just came off another long week of tennis. Two weekends ago my team went to play in the Leyden invite. My partner and I only placed 3rd out of four teams and only won 1 match. We have been struggling but we did manage to pull out a couple wins this past week with a tough 3 setter- 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 and a 6-3, 7-6(1) win. But this past Saturday we had a tough invite and lost our opening match 2-6, 3-6, but were able to come back in our second match and win it 6-1,7-5. But we ended up losing our last match of the day to Palatine who we beat earlier in the week, 3-6,6-3,3-7, with the last set being a tie break. We had an off day finally on sunday and have a practice today with 2 tough matches, one tomorrow against Elk Grove and the other Thursday against Prospect. And we also have the Pitchfort 32 Invite this upcoming weekend, which is like a mini state tournament, so alot of tennis to look forward too! i will post another entry later this week! |
