a drill to develop singles and doubles play. Very simular to beat the champ. Players are divied up in pairs. One pair nominated as champs. Other pairs are sent down to the other end of court. one pair playes the other as per doubles. Coach feeds ball to team nominated as champs. challenger team tries to win two consecutive ponts in a row to get a moon ball high lob fed on champ side of court. the challenger pair that had one the two consectutive points must return the moon ball by running up the champs end and playing the point against the next lot of challengers if the pair up the champ end win that point they are the new champs. however if the pair up the champ end did not win the moonball feed. another moonball is fed until the pair that run up the champs end win the moonball point. This drill can be modified for singles instead of pairs cand be one on one. Can be a very enjoyable drill to use reqiures 8 players for pairs and a min of 5 for singles.
