Pick up 10 (minimum 3 per side)

Divide the group into 2 teams, the first player from each team stands at the little t on the baseline on either side of the court with the second player onwards from each team standing in an orderly line against the back fence on opposite sides of the court. Coach spins a racket and the winning team gets the strike. Ten balls are placed in a bucket at the center net strap on either side of the court. On the coaches signal, both players run to the net and the player with the strike takes a ball from the bucket and runs back to a cone placed midway between the service line and the baseline (ie in no mans land)on reaching it he turns and drop hits the ball, the opposing player will have run to the net touched the bucket only and must sprint back and touch the little t before turning to receive the drop hit ball of the opponent, the rally is played out. Encourage the players to run fast and catch the other out of position. Winner and loser both go to the back of their respective lines and the next two come up to the little t, the team who won the previous rally has the strike and when the coach says go it is their turn to sprint to the net, the strike team grabs the ball and the process continues often with both teams encouraging their players to run faster until one team empties their bucket first. Can be great fun, try to match up the lines evenly.
