About Me:
My name is Borislav Bolic and I was born in Belgrade Yugoslavia in 1960
and when I was ten I started playing tennis in the Tennis Club Partizan
Belgrade.
At tennis tournaments held at places in former Yugoslavia I achived the
following results:
In 1972 Champion of Serbia and fifth place in Yugoslavia;
In 1973 played finales in Belgrade championship and semi finale of
Serbian championship;
In 1974 the second place in Serbia and among the first ten in
Yugoelavia;
In 1975 I played quaterfinal in Under 18 division in Serbia
championship;
In 1976 in 1976 I was among the first of 16 in Yugoslavia.
Also I played and won many thimes against Slobodan Zivojinovic
former Davi Cup player of Yugoslavia and top 17 players on the ATP and
also I played and won with many players like Marko Ostoja top 80 on ATP and many other.
Due to a serios right forearm facture and a long term therapy
Istopped playing tennis in 1978 and went to the army.On my return from the
army in 1981 Iwent back to the Tennis Club Partizan as the first coach of
a tennis school.
In the period between 1984 and 1987 Idid training teams Under 14
and Under 18 of Tennis Club Partizan where I achived nobable results as a
coach of a futures knowen tennis players:Dusan Vemic (Davis Cup player for
Yugoslavia),Vnja Vidojkovic, Katarina Misic(top 200 on wta),also I was
traveling coach of Novak DJokovic and he was No.1 on ETA and top 5 on ITF and now he is 350 on ATP.
Answering the call of a foreign private tennis club from Solingen
Germany I went there in 1987.
In 1988 I founded the first private Tennis Club In Belgrade and in
former Yugoslavia which did not have competitive character, but it was a
high grade tennis school attended by about 1000 people and up to 1997 had
a 100 club members yearly.
Last three years I worked like head coach in the bigiest tennis
academy in Cairo Egypt ,Smash Tennis Academy and Dream Land, where we had about 500
players and I had about 20 coaches 4 supervisors and one assistent coach under my supervision.Also I played from
time to time with Karim Mamoon and he is the best player of Egypt and his
best ranking was 350 ATP.Also I worked with some players from Gezira and
Ahly , Aly El Sherbiny,Nancy El Mola,Hassan Bassel Taiwky.Now I work with some very talented players in Serbia U18 and we were in Cairo on two ITF tournaments where they achived very good results,Bjelica played SF and QF,Djurdjevic SF and QF, Kuzmanovic QF.
