About Me: I was born in Klerskdorp, South-Africa and started playing tennis when I was 8 years old. Because of the lack in skilled coaches in my area I never got the chance of recieving top class training. Now however im 16 years old and are improving vastly everyday. I am currently Ranked 150th in the country and are struggling to improve it because I can only play tournaments in the Holiday's and practise after school. I am afraid to drop school and only play tennis because when I do I won't have any acedemic backup and is greatly inneed of a scholarship. I am a person with a strong pesonality and have enormous determination and perseverence and is striving to exceed and become succesful in my tennis career. It's definitely my biggest dream of becomming a pro one day and I would appreciate if you could help me acchieve that? I have recently been asked by my coach to attend a once in a lifetime oppertunity touring to spain and to go watch Wimbildon! Unfortunately it's costing my parents a fortune and have to pay the tour out of their own pocket. I know there's a lot of children inneed of sponsorships but please take my situation in consideration!!! |
My Goals My goals are to improve my ranking and train extremely hard and win my first major tournament. My long term goals however to become top ranked junior player and one a true professional! |
My Highlights I have won 1 tournament held in my hometown. Have beaten 3 seads in 5 major tournaments and finished in 7 out of 10 finals last year. I am number 1 in my school and the best in my province and have also achieved hounoury colors in playing for my province! |
